Founder and visionary leader of dinCloud, Bob Din brings international business experience to the Cloud. Bob has owned numerous companies in the technology space, including a national VAR & Microsoft LAR where he pioneered B2B ecommerce and the ability to place orders in real time for what distributors such as Ingram Micro and others have in stock. Under Bob’s leadership, the business grew to ~$1B/year annual revenue & became the first publicly traded Minority Business Enterprise in the U.S. that was certified by the National Minority Supplier Development Council. Several years later, he bought back the shares of his company to return it to a private, 100% minority owned business. As such, Bob has a unique vision with dinCloud that he has now taken to VARs, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), Large Enterprises, and other organizations; from someone who has been in their shoes. Bob was awarded the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 1997 and was ranked number one in Success Magazine’s 100 Greatest American Entrepreneurs in 1998.
David Graffia currently holds the position of Vice President of Sales at dinCloud, Inc., and brings 20 years of experience in the area of Information Technology sales and consulting. He has been awarded CRN’s Channel Chief back to back in 2015 and 2016. Prior to joining dinCloud in 2013, David spent nearly a decade at a national VAR where he served as Vice President of Sales. While directing this effort, he increased sales year over year. In addition to sales and marketing, his responsibilities included managing the corporate strategy and the development of emerging technologies. He also worked in executive management at PC Mall and Hartford Computer Group. Graffia has served on numerous advisory councils and is a member of the Technology Executives Club, IT Leaders Circle and IT Marketing Institute. His strengths surround Cloud services, virtualization, storage, asset Management, electronic procurement, software licensing, and both managed and professional services. David enjoys building partnerships and broader business relationships, and is always willing to provide guidance and support.
Ali oversees the day to day operations at dinCloud including sales, marketing, product development, and engineering.
Prior to this role, Ali was the SVP of Marketing and Brand Management for a national IT VAR (value added reseller). There, he managed relationships with brands such as HP, Microsoft, Cisco, and Symantec. He also oversaw lead generation and marketing communications. Ali’s experience includes incubation of new products such as the predecessor to Office 365 and SaaS (software-as-a-service) offerings. He was the VP of Strategic Development at SupplyAccess, a B2B e-procurement software company that had received $36M in funding from SAP Ventures, Tech Data, Peregrine, and others. As the Implementation Manager, he worked with EDS EMEA to launch a multi-national software rollout. Other experiences include working in Finance at Firstsource, a B2B e-tailer, which was later purchased by Office Depot. Ali graduated with a B.A. in Economics from the University of California at Los Angeles and obtained his MBA from the University of Southern California.
