4th of July is one of the most important days in the rich history of the United States of America. It was on this very day of 1776 that America formally declared its independence. Independence Day marks the beginning of a completely new era in the lives of countries, and their citizens.
From the very first day of its founding, the United States of America has stood for diversity, liberty, freedom and inclusivity. It is for these traits, which were sown into the very fabric of this country, that it is a prominent power on the face of this Earth.
During the past couple years or so, the US nation has weathered an unprecedented crisis in the form of a devastating pandemic. Many of our loved ones lost their battle against Covid-19. However, this is just about the time to put the past behind us, and start over with a new vigor.
It is the resilience of this country, and its inhabitants that America has weathered so many storms after its birth as a free country. This 4th of July should also be all about jubilation, family gatherings, fireworks, parades, carnivals and family reunions.
The good thing is, we are now in a much better position to celebrate such social events with true zeal and fervor. Such gatherings reinvigorate our love and respect for this sacred motherland we can call home, no matter what the circumstances.
Such days are also a reminder that the preservation of one’s freedom is equally important, no matter what the cost. Our founding fathers envisioned a country that would welcome every law abiding person with open arms, and America has retained this ethos with flying colors, to this very day.
