Job SummaryLooking to hire a dedicated content writer (Google News Publication) to create content for Google News Approved Website. The content writer’s responsibilities include evaluating analytics to adjust content as needed, able to benchmark the competitors of what they are publishing as a Google News Publication on daily basis with the suggested Images, Optimizing each news with the relevant keywords, Proper Internal lining within the website for a maximum exposure. You should also be able to follow editorial guidelines when creating content. Writer must be able to write at least 5 to 6 well researched News with proper news format. To be successful as a News content writer, you should keep abreast of the latest On Page SEO techniques. Ultimately, a top-performing Content Writer should be able to contribute to the development of strategies that will increase reader engagement.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content.
- Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies.
- Editing and polishing existing news content to improve readability.
- Conducting keyword research and using On Page SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company News Publication website.
- Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, English, journalism, or related field.
